“How did I do?”

“Excellent,” Miss Razzano stated. “We had to make sure. You are going to spend time in another person's body. We had to make sure you were stable.

“There were some questions in there that seemed odd.”

“We mix in many questions, some important, some not so to assess your mental state. We don't want you to freak out and just as importantly we can't have you running off with the new body. The questions help us to discover these tendencies.”

“I see.”

"But all is how it should be.”

“Come with me and we'll get you ready for the procedure. Soon you will be someone else. Soon you'll be spending an entire weekend as a pretty woman.”

“Yeah.”

“As you know, this will be real. You will be put into the body of another person. This is not a simulation or anything like that. You can get hurt or sick like anyone else.”

“OK.”

“Now here we go. Step into here and I'll hook you up.”

Gary entered the booth and sat down in a comfortable chair. He didn't know why he should expect the chair to be something plastic or metal. He sort of imagined that he would be laying down on some sort of surgical gurney. That is how he saw it in the movies, he supposed. A skullcap was placed upon his head and then maneuvered into place, so it covered his eyes and ears.
